Statement of Faith

  • We believe the Bible is the inerrant Word of God revealed to man. (2 Tim 3:16-17)
  • We believe in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit as three separate persons in one essence. (John 1:1-4)
  • We believe Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, atoned for our sins by dying on the cross, rose on the third day and is coming again to judge the living and the dead according to the prophecies in Scriptures. (I Cor 15:3-4)
  • We believe that by the sin of one man (Adam) all mankind was separated from God and now lives is a fallen state. (Rom 5:12-19)
  • We believe salvation comes to those who proclaim by the power of the Holy Spirit that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior. (I Cor 13:3)
  • We believe God created the heavens and the earth all things visible and invisible. (Gen 1:1-31)
  • We believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit as shown in Scripture (Mark 16:17-18 & Cor 12:1-10). These gifts were given to edify the church body and to be used in accordance with Scripture in the order of worship as the Spirit leads.
  • We believe in water baptism as an act of obedience to God and as an outward symbol of an inner change. (Matt 28:19)
  • We believe in the Communion of Saints as a symbol of obedience after salvation that proclaims a belief in Jesus’ death and resurrection. (I Cor 11:23-26).
  • We believe in a "body ministry." We believe that God works through all of his called children, has poured out his Spirit on all flesh, and can work through the "trained" and "untrained" alike. (Joel 2:28-29 & Eph 4:11-13)
  • We believe in the fellowship of believers. Each individual in a church is special to God. We are support and comfort to one another.
